Official 2009 Game Season Announced
The official 2009 game schedule has been decided by the National Public Safety Football League (NPSFL) and the DC Generals. Please note there is one game that is at 'flying' distance (Tampa, Florida). More details about games and travel will be provided to the team in the near future.
March 21
vs. Tampa Bay Sentinels @ Tampa
Game will be played at Tarpon Springs High School. As of right now the start time will be at 7 p.m., but may start an hour earlier if need be. More information to follow.
April 25
vs. Philadelphia Blue Flame @ Philly
May 16
vs. Chicago Enforcers @ Home (Gallaudet University, Washington DC)
May 30
vs. Charlotte Cobras

Future Practices to be Announced
The DG Generals 'Wednesday Workouts' were a success and many players, especially those new to the team, felt they were productive and worthwhile.
There will be no more practices for the rest of 2008. Official practices for the 2009 season will begin in January. The schedule and location will soon be announced. These practices will be very important for all players, especially those returning from previous seasons.

Information About Player Dues for 2009 Season
As a reminder, dues for the 2009 season must be paid by December 31, 2008. Dues are necessary to help cover our basic expenses and are non-refundable. If you are a returning player, this will allow you to remain on the roster and keep your jersey number. For returning players the dues are $200, for new players the dues are $250. Anyone who pays AFTER the 12/31/08 deadline will be considered a new player and the $250 in total will be due upon acceptance. You will not be able to play if dues aren't paid by the first game. It's greatly appreciated if you pay as soon as possible.

Elections Held for DC Generals' Leadership
On Sunday, June 8, 2008 elections were held for the DC Generals' Board of Directors. The results are as follows:

Thank you to everyone for their service since the inception of the team. A high level of gratitude goes to team founder Victor Dobro for all his hard work and dedication. Without his efforts, the team would not exist today.
