The Washington DC Generals offer their thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of PO III Hector Ayala of the Montgomery County Police Department 4th District. Officer Ayala was involved in a fatal single vehicle PIC in the area of Wheaton HS on Randolph Road. POIII Ayala was responding to assist officers with a fight at La Fontera when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree - the accident remains under investigation. POIII Aayala was transported to Holy Cross Hospital where he eventually succumbed to his injuries. POIII Ayala is survived by his wife, Melissa, one year old son, Hector, Jr, and parents, Hector and Luz.
